Books

Reading books seem to be almost old fashion these days. But, I bought me some at a conference. The titles were catchy. I’ll likely read some of them and try to tell others about their message. They may or may not be bored with me trying to tell them something they already know or don’t care to know.

Books are human inventions we use to record things we have experienced, learned, or have been

thinking. God wrote a book. This book is called the Bible. Actually, the Bible is sixty-six books, but it was rolled into one somewhere along the line. The Bible reveals the thoughts of God, His interactions with His people, their behavior, and His ultimate redemption of His people. The Bible says a lot more than that. Most of all, the Bible tells us of God’s love expressed in Jesus His son.

You see, Jesus is what it’s all about. Jesus is the ultimate and final Word of God. He was there in the beginning and will be there when everything comes to a close. As we go along, I’d like to get deeper into the Bible with you. OK? OK for now.
