Why can't it be simple?

Simplicity. Why can’t things be simpler? Crossword puzzles often are complicated in clues and designs. It takes someone with some level of discerning complexities to do one. I try. Some are simple enough for me to complete. Think of it. If we find such puzzles complex, how sharp is the person who created it? Now that takes some kind of brain.

I like the first epistle of the apostle John. He will make a short, simple, statement that wows me. Such a statement could be said as, “Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us that we should be called the children of God!” ( 1John3:1). He then tells us that “God is Love.” Later he tells us, “Beloved let us love one another, for love is of God.” (1John 4:7). Can you see where this is going? The next step is to understand that if we say we love God and don’t love one another, we are just fooling ourselves.

How can we do it? How can we love like that? “We love Him, because He first loved us.” (1John 4:19). Let me invite you to open your heart to receive by faith the love of God through His Son Jesus Christ.”
